LORENZ LAUNCHES AT DUBAI CITYSCAPE

German real estate investment specialists Lorenz Consult is launching an office in Dubai, offering a range of services. The firm has a long track record of advising German clients on investments in the Gulf countries and is now looking at a number of projects in Dubai. It is seeking land for a waterski park and also for a German hospital. Consultant Harald Lorenz said he was using Cityscape 2005 as the launch pad for the firm’s move into Dubai, and is also looking to establish itself in Qatar. “For us, Cityscape is one of the important property shows and I have used it to launch my company in Dubai,” he said. Lorenz Consult manages private equity funds. It also acts as a consultant, offering German clients properties in the region, backed by a range of services to buyers. One is Home Manager, which offers foreign owners home management services such as security, mail forwarding and a housemaid. Lorenz is the author of a number of Publications, including an investment guide to Dubai to be followed in early 2006 by a similar guide to Bahrain.
